Perfect Days

Start with breakfast at one of the thousands of wonderful restaurants and cafes. Wander along the covered porticos protected from the elements to the Piazza Maggiore and be sure to check out the back of the statue of Neptune to see the effect! Then take the bus to the bottom of the pilgrimage route up the hill to San Luca. Those who can't manage the 3 hour trek can take a bus! Have lunch at the friendly restaurant opposite the basilica. In the afternoon visit one of the many museums, probably the Museum of Ob because of its wonderful frescoes. After a spot of shopping in the many shops and stores, in the evening treat myself to a meal at the top of one of the towers with its stunning views.
